
NATHAN COOPER
DIRECTOR
Nathan has been working as a craftsperson and has been conserving and repairing stained glass and leaded lights since 1995. He learnt the craft of stained glass through a traditional route, that of the apprenticeship/master. He started his apprenticeship to Arthur Bradley from Minster Glass in Cornwall at the age of 22. He has over twenty six years of experience in the conservation of glazing in ecclesiastical buildings. For ten years he worked in Cornwall and surrounding counties. In 2011 he moved to Bridport and joined Stonecroft Stained Glass lead by Roger Lawrence from 2008 to 2023. He is now the co-owner and director of Stonecroft.

MICHELLE DAWSON
DIRECTOR
Michelle studied at the Welsh School of Architectural Glass in Swansea. She attained an award from the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass in 2008 which gave her the opportunity to work and study in cathedrals and glass studios across the UK and Germany. She was a prize winner for the Stevens Architectural Glass Competition 2008.
She setup her art studio in 2010 at Swansea Studios, Maritime Quarter and studied part-time as a post graduate in Glass (Fine Art) graduating in 2013. In 2016 she moved to Trondheim, Norway and worked in conservation at Nidaros Domkirke Restaureringsarbeider. Now she lives and works in Bridport, Dorset and is the co-owner and director of Stonecroft.
